Acceptable Use Policy
Updated: July 5, 2026
Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to websites, domains, hosting accounts, email services, SSL certificates, DNS services, support systems, and related services provided or supported by Elev8d Designs.
Lawful Use Required
Clients may not use services for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, threatening, harassing, exploitative, or malicious activity. Services must be used in compliance with applicable laws, provider terms, registrar rules, platform requirements, and reasonable internet safety standards.
Prohibited Activity
Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to, malware distribution, phishing, credential theft, spam, mass unsolicited email, fraudulent activity, impersonation, copyright or trademark infringement, illegal content, unauthorized access attempts, network abuse, denial-of-service activity, botnets, scraping abuse, exploit hosting, or any activity intended to damage systems, data, users, providers, or the public.
Email and Messaging
Email services may not be used to send spam, deceptive messages, malicious attachments, phishing attempts, unlawful solicitations, or bulk messaging that violates provider rules. Clients are responsible for securing email accounts and reporting suspected compromise quickly.
Website Content
Clients are responsible for the content, media, forms, scripts, plugins, software, and data placed on their websites. Websites should be maintained, updated, and secured. Outdated software, vulnerable plugins, infected files, or abusive scripts may be restricted or removed when necessary to protect the hosting environment.
Security Responsibilities
Clients must use strong passwords, protect account credentials, limit unnecessary user access, maintain backups when appropriate, and notify Elev8d Designs of suspected compromise, unauthorized access, suspicious email activity, or malware warnings.
Resource Usage
Hosting resources must be used in a reasonable manner consistent with the selected service plan and provider limits. Excessive CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, email sending, database activity, or other resource use may require optimization, upgrade, restriction, or service review.
Domain and DNS Use
Domains and DNS records may not be used to support phishing, fraud, malware, unlawful activity, deceptive redirects, or abusive email practices. Domain-related services may be suspended, modified, or refused if required by registrar, registry, legal, provider, or security obligations.
Enforcement
Elev8d Designs may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, restrict access, suspend service, disable accounts, decline support, notify providers, or take other reasonable action when necessary to protect clients, systems, providers, or the public.
Reporting Abuse
Suspected abuse, security issues, or service misuse may be reported to inquiry@elev8designs.net. Please include the domain, URL, email headers when relevant, screenshots, timestamps, and a description of the concern.
Policy Updates
This Acceptable Use Policy may be updated as services, providers, security practices, or legal requirements change. The updated date above reflects the latest posted version.
